From humble beginnings exciting things can grow.
Hi-Impact Products was founded in 1992 by Carl Pomerantz, a Professional Structural Engineer. After an engineering consulting career of almost a decade, Carl sought to transfer his knowledge and experience to the design and fabrication of plastic adhesive products. Initially setting-up shop from his home garage, Carl began by working closely with local retailers to design and manufacture improved P.O.P. products, although it did not take long before national chains were added to the customer list. In 1998, a European distributor was also aligned, based in the Netherlands, to handle overseas clients.
As the customer list grew, so too did the product line and key management personnel. Alain Parette joined the team in 2001 and as a former store manager (and Hi-Impact Products customer!) his retailing experience enabled us to even more intimately understand our clients' needs. Our team approach is to meld our expertise with the needs of the client. All our products are designed, worked and reworked by Carl and the development team, and with the thoughts, suggestions and inputs of our customers and their store associates.
From the beginning, we at Hi-Impact Products have aimed to be unique and original in everything that we do. We seek to never simply copy someone else’s product, but strive to improve it and make it our own. And the company has several patents to prove it!
